Oral Piercings: Clean one to two times a day for 4 to 6 weeks using an alcohol free and peroxide free mouthwash or an oral piercing mouth rinse.
Microdermals: Clean once a day for 4 to 6 weeks with sterile saline or unscented antibacterial soap with warm water. Apply a bandage with pressure to your microdermal prior to sleeping to ensure a flat healing.
Non-Oral Piercings/Microdermals: Never use any antiseptics or healing agents such as peroxide, rubbing alcohol, ointment, or tea tree oil. Do not twist or rotate your piercing. Do not overclean your piercing. This may cause irritation or an irritation bump. If this occurs, contact your piercer.
Oral Piercings: Do not clean after every time you eat, drink, or smoke. This may cause irritation to your piercing. Avoid beer and dairy within the first week. Never change a piercing too early. Never remove jewelry if you feel there are signs of infection.
